Why should I participate in the workshop?
Education Basic
Get a comprehensive overview of the basic applications of our technologies in an educational context. From getting started with Automation Studio and practical application examples to the extensive solution options offered by B&R and the Education Network. In the morning, we will work together to create and commission our first Automation Studio project. In the afternoon, you will learn about the many possibilities offered by our software solutions and take home exciting ideas for your lessons thanks to practical examples. With this course, we will lay the foundation for modern automation in teaching.
B&R Education Advanced
Discover the world of digital twins! Create an application for a box lift simulated in RobotStudio in Automation Studio. You will benefit from a model specially tailored to the needs of educational institutions. The modular design allows you to use mapp technology packages such as mapp Motion or mapp View in addition to the essential use of state machines in programming, and to observe the results directly on the simulation model. Take the first step with this course to teach advanced B&R technology without real hardware.
Interesting facts about the region
The Innviertel, officially known as the Innkreis, is the northwesternmost district of Upper Austria and comprises the districts of Braunau am Inn, Ried im Innkreis and Schärding. Unlike the rest of Upper Austria, most of this area belonged to Bavaria until 1779 (Peace of Teschen). The name Innviertel for this region is relatively recent (previously the name Innbaiern was commonly used). It was coined only after the annexation to Austria in 1779 by the Austrian administration, which at that time divided the Archduchy of Upper Austria (today's Upper Austria) into four quarters.
